I think most businesses are hesitant to jump into Pinterest because they've been struggling with Facebook and Twitter for a while and see no need to jump into (and struggle with) another social network.
But Pinterest is one of the first that opens the door for true social shopping and can show direct ROI using Pinterest Web Analytics.
